COLLIERS INTERNATIONAL FACILITATES SALE OF BONITA GARDENS IN DALLAS

(DALLAS—September 23, 2020)  Colliers International’s Multifamily Services Team of Mark Allen CCIM and Courtland Charles announced it has facilitated the sale of Bonita Gardens Apartments, a two-story 138-unit multifamily community located at 3410 Fordham Road in Dallas, TX. The garden style, class C asset was sold for an undisclosed amount to a Dallas buyer. The all-cash transaction closed within 30 days of executing the purchase sale agreement.

“The terms of this transaction reflect the desire investors have across the U.S. for Dallas multifamily,” said Mark Allen CCIM, senior vice president with Colliers International, who represented the seller and attracted investors from coast to coast. “COVID-19 has impacted us all but we are representing our clients through it.”

Bonita Gardens was built in 1976 and was completely remodeled in 2011. The asset is built with a long-lasting brick and wood construction, slab foundation, resilient Hardie board siding, and recently replaced new pitched roofs. Bonita Gardens is seated on over 161,000 square feet (3.7 acres) of land. The floor plans range in size from 661 square feet to 762 square feet.

Unit amenities include but are not limited to ceiling fans and energy efficient dual AC/Heat window units. The property has a picnic and play area with grass and tall shaded trees. Bonita Gardens offers easy access to Interstate-45, Loop-12, the Dallas VA Medical Center, and is a mere 6.5 miles to Downtown Dallas.
